Briefing.com's "Upgrades & Downgrades" and "Splits Calendar" Now
Available on Yahoo! Finance
Briefing.com, the leading site for live Wall Street analysis,
now contributes content to Yahoo! Finance
Burlingame, CA, July 22, 1997… Briefing.com today announced
that it is now contributing two of its premium pages to Yahoo!
Finance (http://quote.yahoo.com):
Upgrades & Downgrades and Splits Calendar. Yahoo! Finance
viewers can now receive detailed information on public
companies' most recent ratings by clicking on Upgrades &
Downgrades. The Splits Calendar shows when companies have or
will announce a split in their stock.
In continuing its
tradition of providing in-depth analysis to both the savvy
individual investor as well as industry professionals,
Briefing.com's two new contributions to Yahoo! Finance feature
professionally researched analysis in a clear and
easy-to-understand format. Upgrades & Downgrades addresses both
positive and negative changes in stock rating (buy, hold, etc.)
and is updated at market open, noon and shortly after market
close (Eastern time). The Splits Calendar lists the company
name, the split ratio and the announcement date for the current
month and also for the four following months. It is updated at
market close each trading day.
As a contributor to Yahoo!
Finance's already extensive financial content, Briefing.com's
Upgrades & Downgrades and Splits Calendar bring two unique
features to the service. "Yahoo! is the definitive starting
point for accessing financial content on the Web," says Mike
Riley, producer for Yahoo! Finance. "The addition of
Briefing.com's analysis further adds to the comprehensive
resources users can draw from at Yahoo! Finance."
Yahoo!
Finance is the most popular source for up-to-the-minute
financial information on the Web, as found in recent analysis
conducted by PC Meter. The site serves as a one-stop resource
for comprehensive financial and investment information,
providing quotes, editorial, financial news and company
profiles. In addition to these services, Yahoo! Finance has
unique features like stock chat and an easy-to-access reference
section, which includes the Splits Calendar.
Briefing.com
offers two services to its subscribers, Briefing.com
"Professional" and Briefing.com "Stock Analysis." The
"Professional" service offers fixed-income and forex analysis as
well as stock analysis for professional money managers. And
Briefing's "Stock Analysis" service is designed for the savvy
individual investor, offering live financial news and analysis,
in addition to reliable forecasts.
The president of
Briefing.com, Dick Green, was formerly president of Standard &
Poors' MMS International, where he spent thirteen years
developing the world's largest live financial commentary and
analysis service for professional traders. Now, Mr. Green has
compiled a staff of noted analysts and economists for his
Internet based service.
Green explains, "Briefing.com
levels the playing field for investment professionals and
individuals. Market analysis that was formerly only available
through expensive terminal services can now be accessed by
anyone with a PC, modem and Internet access."
