GYMB +4.7% and HOTT -3.1% Following Earnings Results

In the absence of any broader market catalysts, financials and tech issues led the major indices to varied gains in the face of choppy trade. After the close, some of the most notable companies to report included GYMB and HOTT, which are trading 4.7% higher and 3.1% lower, respectively.

Futures are mixed after hours with S&P 500 futures 0.14 points above fair value of 1145.16 and Nasdaq 100 futures 0.72 points below fair value of 1917.47.

Seven of ten sectors were in positive territory, led by Financials (+1.1%), Tech (+0.8%) and Energy (+0.6%), while the Consumer Staples (-0.02%), Telecom (-0.01%) and Materials (-0.1%) sectors were lower.

Tomorrow morning, three economic reports are scheduled to be released before the open. 1) Continuing Claims (Consensus 4500K), 2) Initial Claims (Consensus 460K) and 3) Trade Balance (Consensus -$41.0 bln).
