currently underperforming the broader market (-1.7%).
Sector News: GPOR (-5.7%) gave an update on its increased acreage position in
Utica Shale, announced that Grizzly Oil Sands reserve and resource assessment,
and provided an update on TEW-E exploratory well in Thailand. The co also
announced a 3 million share common stock offering. XCO (-3.6%) shares are weaker
after the co's Special Committee conducting a review of strategic alternatives
rejected CEO Doug Miller's buyout offer.
Broker Calls: VQ (+0.9%) was upgraded to Buy at Pritchard. KIOR (+1.0%) was initiated with an Outperform at Cowen. TPCG (-2.9%) was downgraded to Neutral at Macquarie. TNK (-1.6%) was downgraded to Neutral, from Buy, at BofA/Merrill.
