In separate news, AT&T (T) announced that it ended bid to add network capacity through T-Mobile USA purchase. Co said that after a thorough review of options it has agreed with Deutsche Telekom AG (DTEGY) to end its bid to acquire T-Mobile USA, which began in March of this year. To reflect the break-up considerations due Deutsche Telekom, AT&T will recognize a pretax accounting charge of $4 bln in Q4 2011.
After the close, RHAT and NWPX are the only notable names scheduled to report earnings results.
Futures are higher after hours: S&P 500 futures are +0.46 from fair value of 1199.14 and Nasdaq100 futures are +2.95 from fair value of 2211.25.
Tomorrow morning before the open, one economic report is scheduled to be released: 1) Housing starts (Consensus 627K) and Building permits (Consensus 633K).
